10/84 Wood Hall Farmhouse and adjacent cottages

GV II

House and cottages, early Cl9. Squared rubble with quoins, tooled and margined dressings. Slate roof, stepped stone stack on right gable, left gable stack partly rebuilt in brick. Farmhouse: 2 storeys, 3 windows, symmetrical and an added left bay. Central glazed door with 4-pane fanlight and alternating jambs; 16-pane sash windows in moulded box frames. Lower left addition has 16-pane sash and C20 window inserted in blocked door. Cottages set back to right: 2 doors and 2 16-pane sashes on ground floor; four 4-pane sashes above, 2 brick ridge stacks. Continuous rear outshut to house.
