Semi-detached cottage adjoining Yew Tree Cottage (q.v.). Mid C17-
early C18. Square-panelled timber framing with brick infill;
brick; rear of house pebble-dashed; thatched roof; coursed
squared and dressed limestone chimney with brick shaft.
Rectangular plan. Flat-roofed extensions to rear not of special
interest. Roadside front: one 2-light and one 3-light casement
with horizontal glazing bars. Two-light eyebrow dormer and 2.-
light roof dormer at rear. Plank door within an open-fronted
lean-to porch with rustic timber side wall and corrugated iron
roof. Formerly projecting gable-end stack now incorporated within
the end wall; bread oven to one side. Interior not inspected.
