BRIDGE STREET 1. 5128 (West Side) Nos 2 and 4 SU 7173 SW 2/372 22.6.77. II GV 2. Early C19 altered. Known locally as the Dolls' Hospital. Forms corner site with No 1 Castle Street. 5 storeys, stucco. 4 windows, glazing bar sashes, right hand ones panels. Moulded cornice with brackets framing 2nd floor windows. Slate roof. Curved shop front with outer doorways (the right hand one partly blocked); fascia brackets to pilasters; central entrance flanked by paired modillions to fascia cornice.
