11/48 High Shaw (house 300 metres east of High Staward Farmhouse) II
Farmhouse and barn, now agricultural store, c.1700,barn addition early Cl9. Rubble, quoins roughly cut in earlier part, tooled and margined in barn; windows with timber lintels. Stone slate roof with stone ridge and gable stacks, left gable coped. Barn door with alternating jambs, off-centre door to house with replaced head, two windows to right and one to left, two small 1st floor windows and a third, blocked, above the door. Interior has old fireplace with hood bressumer, roof with three upper-cruck trusses with collars, two levels of purlins and ridge piece. Empty and derelict at time of survey.
