GV II
Lodge at entrance to park. Mid-late C19. Walls - lower parts brick with stone dressings, upper part timber framed, part tile - hung. Tiled roof with ornamental bargeboards and crested ridge. Central brick stack with vertical ribbing and oversailing cap. L-shaped plan. One storey and attic. Gable end to road has upper walls tile - hung, - ornamental tiles. 2 casements with glazing bars on ground floor, one in attic and one at mezzanine level. At right end, roof carried down over porch. Left elevation has, in this porch, a stone pointed arched doorway and one small window with lead lights. Right of this, a projecting gabled wing with, on ground floor, a 4-light stone mullioned window with lead lights. Attic storey in gable jettied out - this timber framed with ornamental plaster infil. In attic, a timber oriel window with lead lights, moulded cornice and bracketted sill. Ornamental tile - hanging in gable area. Picturesque.
