TARRANT CRAWFORD ST 90 SW - 5/28 Barn 150m north-east of Tarrant Abbey House GV II
Barn, C15 origin, largely rebuilt 1759. Earliest part in flint and rubble, later parts in English bond brickwork. 2 original weathered buttresses to north wall. C18 brick buttresses to west wall. Tiled roof. Transeptal west exit porch. Ventilator slits. Eight bay C18 'sling brace' truss roof. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV, p.88, no.4.)
