Large house in row. Dated EL 1800 on keystone over door. Limestone ashlar,
hipped concrete tiled roof. A large house set at right angles to the street and
facing down Vicarage Street across a small garden; connected at left to the
later St Peter's Cottage (q.v.). Symmetrical 3-bay, 3-storey facade with narrow
centre bay slightly set forward and with pediment. Ground floor has tripartite
4:12:4-pane sashes flanking 6-panel fielded door under fanlight; plain first
floor string, 12-pane sashes, that to centre in arch and with intersecting bars;
6-pane sashes under moulded cornice and parapet blocking course. Return to St
Mary's Street, with two plain string courses, has 8-pane C20 sash ground floor,
right, two 9-pane at first floor and tow 12-pane at second floor. Three stone
stacks, that to right with moulded capping. Interior not inspected.
