Field barn. Late C181early C19. Red brick; steeply pitched roof with corrugated sheeting replacing thatch. T-shaped plan. Crow-stepped east and west gables with moulded eaves corbels. In the west gable, facing Gillingham Hall, a large blind five light window with painted-arch head and intersecting tracery; plastered infill and plain brick mullions and tracery. Later inserted cross window at high level. Six-light window in east gable with ventilation loops below. Central projecting porch on north side, gable parapet with corbelled eaves. Double door opening central in south wall. Ventilation loops in north wall. Roof of staggered butt purlins with unbraced tie beams. -
