2 houses. West house early C18, east house mid C18, both raised in height late C18, converted to one house mid C20. Whitewashed brick; pantile roofs.
EXTERIOR: north front of 2 storeys; 4-window range. Each of the houses in the late C18 were symmetrical2-window ranges with doorways between the windows. Doorway to east blocked. Doorcase to west house with eared surround under a bolection-moulded pediment. 6-panelled fielded door, the upper 2 panels glazed. One 616 horned sash right and left and 2818 unhorned sashes to first floor.
Butt join between the former 2 houses. East house with one 616 horned sash to ground floor and 2313 unhorned sashes to first floor. Dentil eaves cornice to whole facade. Internal gable- end stacks east and west and central ridge stack.
Rear elevation with butt join and dentil eaves cornice. Fenestration of 212 horned sashes and 2-light casements. late C19 hipped single-storey extension to west of C20 conservatory.
East and west gable ends with brick tumbling in two tiers indicating raising of roof.
INTERIOR: west ground-floor room with unmoulded spine beam, inglenook fireplace and 4- panelled door to hallway. Long hall corridor from north external door, with C20 staircase to south end. Next room east with rebuilt fireplace with site of former winder to north of stack, lit by a formerly external leaded glazed window. East end with 2 rooms converted to one room, the bridging beams on a brick pier. Winder staircase at east end.
First floor with full-length corridor on south side. Roof of east end: principals, secondaries, collars and one tier of taper-tenoned butt purlins. Roof of west end: principals, secondaries, 2 tiers of collars and 2 tiers of butt purlins; some windbraces.
