GV II

Detached Cottage, formerly two, now Post Office. Early C18, with C20 refenestration in mainly original openings. Rubble- stone and chalk-block walls, painted. Thatch roof, hipped at both ends. Brick stacks at left ridge and right of centre. 1½ storeys. 4 windows, 3-light C20 metal casements, with glazing-bars, 2-light dormers over. Front door, right of centre, plank, C19. Substantial brick porch, painted, with hipped thatch roof over, C19. Plank door, left of centre, with wood lintel over. Plank-doors to 'carriage-entrance' at left hand end.
