(Formerly listed as MULBARTON THE COMMON (west side) The Malt House)


Dwelling. C17 lobby entrance type house with a tall early C19 side addition. Timber-frame refaced with brick to original wing. Colour-washed brick to addition. Pantiled roofs. Original wing of one storey with attic. Two C18 mullion and transom windows with metal casements and board shutters. Front door opposite off-centre axial stack. Remains of rusticated jambs to former openings at southern end. Four gabled dormers with some C18 metal casements. Side addition of three storeys with cellar and three bays of sash windows with glazing bars reduced in height with each storey. Skewback arches. Central upper window blind Gable-end stacks. Original wing with ovolo moulded spine beam with ogee stops. Stair to entrance side of stack with C17 turned landing balusters. C20 roof.
