An Cl8 or early C19 red brick house. 2 storeys and attics. 1 window range on the narrow frontage to South Street and 2 window range on the west front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars on the north front and horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars on the west front, in plain reveals. Roof tiled, mansard, steeply pitched, with 3 loping roofed dormers on the west side.
New Mills and Nos 66 to 70 (even) form a group.
