House - now 2 cottages. Late C17 - early C18. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roofs, brick end and centre stacks. Two storeys and attic. Gabled stone porch serves both cottages. No. 82 has two sash windows with vertical glazing bars on each floor. No. 84 has one similar window on each floor, and a hipped dormer with casements. At left end of No. 84, a projecting stone extension with stone slate roof.

Main ground floor room - once two rooms in No. 82 has large open fireplace with timber lintol and bread oven and a smaller corner fireplace. This house under repair at time of survey -(1984) and a rear wing under construction. In No. 84, main ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintol and bread oven.
