Country house, now educational establishment. Late C18: rainwater head on west gable dated 1787. Red brick; hipped plaintiled roof. Three storeys, 5 x 2 bays. Symmetrical south facade of five bays: sashes with glazing bars, gauged skewback arches over openings. Central doorway with Doric pilasters supporting reeded entablature with paterae; semiciruclar fanlight with decorative glazing bars, panelled reveal. Plinth with stone capping. Stone platband at first floor level. Modillion eaves cornice with reeded fascia. Two chimney stacks symmetrically-placed to east and west. North facade similar, but simpler doorway with plain entablature and 3-light rectangular fanlight above. Later additions to west. Interior: bolection-moulded panelling and fireplaces to ground floor rooms; one fireplace with Ionic columns and panelled overmantle.
