Detached house. Original section early - mid C19, enlarged c1908. Original section has plastered walls, hipped slate roof with wide eaves and shaped brackets. Plastered stacks in centre, with moulded caps. 2 storeys. In Regency style. Main garden, (original entrance) front has a glass-roofed verandah on iron columns with ornamental frieze. Pair of French doors in centre, with semi-circular fanlight. Ground floor has 2 sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has 3 similar windows, the centre one round-headed. At right end, a flat-roofed extension of c1908, with balustraded parapet. Large extension of c1908 at left end, with pebble-dashed walls and part slated, part flat roof. Present entrance in this section. Casement windows with glazing bars. Internally, original section retains moulded architaves and other joinery. Cut string stair with moulded balusters and shaped spandril brackets.
