GV II

Vicarage house with house attached at east end (Glebe House, q.v.). Mid C18; early C19 alteration and addition. Coursed and squared limestone; ashlar chimneys; plain tile roof. Two-storey with attic; double pile plan. Front: 5-window fenestration, all 12- pane sashes with moulded timber architraves and plain stone lintels. Central doorway with moulded 4-panel door and moulded flat porch hood on shaped brackets. Three gabled roof dormers with timber casements. Gable end chimneys with plain caps. Rear: lower 2-storey block with parallel roof. Casement fenestration with plain stone lintels. Interior not inspected. (N.M. Herbert, 'Leonard Stanley' in V.C.H. Glos. x, 1972, pp 257- 267)
