Rockstowes Mill
II
Dwelling with jenny lofts, now dwelling. Early C19 or late C18. Squared limestone, concrete tile to very steeply pitched roof with brick gable stacks. Three storeys and attic, three-windowed, 2-light casements to segmental heads; at ground floor two modern doors and modern glazed porch uner centre bay, east facade. West facade also three storeys, 3-windowed similar, but with extension at ground floor. In right gable, casement to attic, with loading door.
This was one of the buildings associated with the Rockstowes Mill, of c1800, now demolished. It was two cottages, with jenny lofts over. Included principally for historic interest. (Jennifer Tann, Gloucestershire Woollen Mills, 1967).
