MONKLEIGH SS4520 17/142 Collings and Rendall monuments in the churchyard approx 6 and 8m SE of S porch of Church of St George GV II Two headstones. Early C18. Slate. Both headstones are square and have scribed decoration: pilasters with moulded cornices flank inscriptions. Headstone which commemorates Margaret Collings, d. 1738, has hourglass, crossed bones and lovers hearts at top. Headstone which commemorates James Rendall, d. 1733, has flowers flanking skull and crossbones at top.
