MONKLEIGH SS4520 17/144 Group of 2 Hookway monuments and 4 unidentified monuments in the churchyard, approx 4 to 7m S. of S. porch of Church of St. George GV. II Group of 6 headstones. Mid to late C18. Slatestone headstone to Elizabeth Hookway, d. 1759, with inscription set in architectural frame, and segmental-arched headstone to Mary Hookway, d. 1795, stand to W. of 4 mid/late C18 headstones which are inscribed with fine poetic elegies.
