TM 29 SE WOODTON NORWICH ROAD (west side)

4/83 Woodton Lodge 25.9.51 - II House C17 and late C18. Colour-washed brick, timber frame. Pantile roof and hipped pantile roof. T-shaped plan. North facade of 5 bays, 2 storeys. Sash windows with glazing bars. Central timber glazed porch with 2 sashes to each side. 5 6-pane sashes to first floor. Timber modillions to cornice. Hipped roof. 2 parallel ranges to rear of 3 bays, 2 storeys. 2 storey canted bay window to southern bay with sash windows with glazing bars to 3 faces, some top panes to upper floor sashes still with trefoil glazing bars to head. Small light to right of canted bay. 2 further sashes to ground and first floors. Off-centre axial stack. Interior: Timber frames to rear ranges intact. Bedfroom with canted bay window, deeply coved ceiling and panelled doors, the upper panels with trefoil heads.
