TL 7833 SIBLE HEDINGHAM POTTER STREET (east side) 11/270 Nos. 3 & 5 Clare Cottage & Kerry Cottage. (formerly listed as Clare 21 6 62 Cottage and Cottage opposite Swaynes)

Cottage, now two dwellings. C17/C18 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and panel plastered. Red plain tiled roof with some striation. Three grey slate catslide dormers. Left red brick chimney stack. One storey and attics. Three window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, pentice boards over, to right a small bay shop window. Central and left return four panelled doors with pentice boards over. There is some confusion with the former listing which gives the name Clare Cottage but describes No. 7 q.v. 11/271.
