Details
EDMUND STREET 1. 1092 Former Church of St Edmund SX 9192 SE 5/4 29.1.53 Church of St Edmuncl II 2. Originally C13, extended C15. Rebuilt 1834. Two arches of C13. Exe Bridge and foundations of piers on which the church stood exist in Undercroft. Heavitree stone. Small five bay church and castellated tower. Partially demolished 1973, roof removed, walls reduced in height.
