2. A late C16 timber-framed house refronted in the C18 in red brick. 2 storeys. 4 window range, double-hubg sashes with glazing bars, in stuccoed reveals, with gauged brick rusticated flat arches. A brick porch projects on the front with a 6-panel door in a C18 doorcase with architrave and a pediment on carved brackets. The front and south end has a number of wide brick buttresses. The rear is renovated and added to with a weather boarded gabled wing. The roof is of old tiles, steeply pitched and hipped, with a modillion eaves cornice slightly set back from the face of the wall. The interior has exposed beamed ceilings in all rooms and 4 good original moulded brick fireplaces with canibered heads.
