6/57 Corner Common Farmhouse
- II
Farmhouse. Early C18. Brick and flint with thatched roof. 2 storeys. North
bay of flint with one C20 casement each floor and blocked doorway. 2 C20
segmental headed doors to south, and 2 casements each floor of irregular
disposition. Windows C19 or C20. Gabled roof. Gable heads on kneelers with
internal gable end stacks, that to south rebuilt 1983. South gable head with
several blocked windows and patchy rebuilding. Interior of south room has
chamfered bridging beam with rolled jewel stops. Beams at cornice with
identical stops.
