2. A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house altered in the C18 and later and renovated in the C20. The timber-framed is exposed on the 1st storey. 2 storeys. 4 window range, 3-light casements with leaded lights on the lst storey and 3 C19 bay windows on the ground storey. A large external chimney stack was built in the C20 on the north end, in Tudor style with diaper pattern brickwork. Roof tiled. The interior has exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists.
The Kings Arms Inn with the Church of St Mary the Virgin, The Vineries and Broomfields and N0s 9 to 15 (odd) (Woolards Cottages, Church Green form a group.
