MARKET PLACE (east side) No 38, Lloyds Bank

(Formerly listed as Premises occupied by Lloyds Bank, MARKET PLACE)

GV II C18 with alterations including 1891 front, three storeys, four windows, red brick with stone dressings including balustrade parapet. Modern ground floor interior. Garden front, stucco with sash windows with glazing bars and arched window with radial bars at heads. Early C19 outbuilding at rear, two storeys, with associations connected with the Duke of Wellington. Deeds 1760, 1793 and 1828.

Dereham Labour Party HQ, The Eagle Inn, Cosy Corner Cafe, Nos 29 to 31 (consec), Nos 32, 32a, 33, 34 (north and south portions), No 35, Cowper Congregational Church and Lloyds Bank form a group.
