SY 2289 BEER THE CAUSEWAY 28/44 8.5.67 Starre House and Starre Cottage (Starre House previously listed) GV II
House. Small C16/17 ashlar house. Slate roof with stone coping to gable ends with moulded kneelers and with moulded stone eaves and plinth. Two storeys. Four window range. Three, four and six-light hollow-chamfered stone mullion windows with dripmoulds and C19 three-light casements with glazing bars, one with dripmould. Left hand moulded four-centred arch doorway. Rendered chimney stacks at gable ends. Stone mullion window in west gable end. Circa late C19 stone single storey and attic wing at rear with loft door in gable.
