Cottage, formerly church-house. Probably C17 core, extended in C19 and much altered
in C20. Unrendered stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Former
outbuilding at right end has slate roof with lower ridge levels. Rendered rear
lateral stack to lower left end and unrendered stone rubble stack at right end of
main range with tapered cap and drip.
Two-room plan to main range with direct entry
into right-hand room which has winder staircase in rear left-hand corner suggesting
the removal of a passage partition. One room extension at right end, possibly
converted from outbuilding.
4-window range. All C20 2-light casements. Blocked openings to each side of C20
door.
Interior much altered in C20. Rough unchamfered cross ceiling beams to each room
and timber lintel to fireplace to right end stack. Some C19 2 plank doors survive.
Roof not inspected.
