II
Lodge. Late C19. Picturesque Tudor style cottage. Slate rubble with granite dressings and some timber-framing. Thatched roof with gabled ends with shaped bargeboards. L-shaped on plan. Two storeys. Gable end to road is jettied and has timber-framing. Thatched swept down over porch in the angle. Casements with leaded panes. Some granite mullion windows with hood moulds. Small slate-roofed oriel on brackets in west gable end. Tall red brick central chimney stack. Later C19 slate-roofed extension at rear (south).
