TL 60 NW WILLINGALE SHELLOW ROAD, (South side), 6/17 Short Lane off 1 and 2, Shellow Cross Farm Cottages

Pair of handed 2 storey cottages. Mid C17 timber framed and plastered but with black boarded ground floors. Hipped, machine made clay plain tile roof with large, square, central ridge line stack and pair of early C20 stacks through rear roof slope. Pair of identical gabled, 2 storey rear extensions and lean-to black boarded extensions on each end. Front has 4 two-light C19 casements with small panes, over similar casements and central doorcases with flat projecting hoods to each unit. Interior shows well framed structure without jowls but with central stack bay and some reused timber. Spine beam has moulded impost with 2 large cymas.
