11/100 Hall House -

GV II

House. C16, gabled front wing C18/C19. Timber frame on red brick base, plastered with panelled pargetting and dark weatherboard apron at rear. Steep old red tile roofs with bellcast eaves and tilehung E gable triangle. A 1½ storeys, 3-cells, internal chimney plan house facing N with front eaves raised and 2-storeys short gabled front extension for later entrance at NE. Old internal chimney a third from E and later W gable chimney. 2 gabled dormers at rear flanking the chimney. C20 SW rear extension. Front has battened door and 3-light upper window in NE wing and 2 similar windows to Ground Floor but only a small upper window under eaves. House of Wheeler family c.1545. (Jackson (1985)15).
