Details

ELLESMERE RURAL C.P. CROSS SJ 33 NE 4/108 Seven Sisters - GV II Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with later additions and alterations. Red brick; hipped slate roof. Basic L-plan with early C19 full-height range to rear on left. 2 storeys and attic with dentilled eaves cornice. 5 windows, 3 to right closely spaced, all flush-framed horned 4-paned sashes with C18 segmental heads. 3 hip-roofed eaves dormers. Entrance between second and third windows from left; panelled door under late C20 wide gabled open brick porch. Prominent ridge stack rebuilt in late C20 brick to left of centre as is top of external end stack to right. Tall round-arched window with Gothic tracery in slightly projecting section to rear on right. Single-storey lean-to behind C19 addition in angle with main range.
