ST41SE EAST CHINNOCK CP FORDHAY (East side)

3/68 Boundary walls to Fordhay House, extending about 20 metres Northwards from House and then 20 metres Eastwards to Barn Cottage - GV II

Boundary wall. Possibly C18 with modifications. Stone rubble, about 3.5 metres high, capped with two courses clay pantiles with ridge. A C19 pointed arched doorway in West (road) side with boarded door. Very important element of streetscene and of the group of items associated with Fordhay House (qv).
