Pair of cottages. C18, possibly modified early C19. Local lias stone coursed rubble; the more westerly has double Roman
clay tile roof between abutments, the easterly clay pantiles with coped east gable. 2 storeys, west cottage 2-bays,
east cottage single-bay. 2-light small-pane casement windows, with stone lintols to lower and timber lintols above;
west cottage has boarded door in old frame, and a piece of Doulting stone is inscribed 'C/SE/1723'; east cottage has a
6-flush-panel door in recess to left of window; single storey lean-to with brick infill against east gable. To rear of
west cottage a closet lean-to straddles a stream. Interior not seen-probably little altered. Front boundary wall
between cottages a large stone plank wall. Attached to west gable of west cottage a larger house not of special
interest.
