Summerhaugh Cottage GV II

Early C19 exterior to C17 timber frame. Symmetrical front (south) of one storey and attic, 3 windows. Thatched roof with eaves raised above the attic windows (with cills at eaves level). Rendered walling, with plain pilasters dividing the elvation in 3 equal bays, with a narrower (entrance) bay between the second and third upper casements, lower sashes of 20 lights. Five-panelled door in a solid frame with a hood on curved brackets, with later side screens. Single-storeyed outbuilding joined to the west side, of slate roofing and flint walling with brick dressings. Frame exposed at the rear.
