5/72 Unidentified chest tomb - approximately 23m south of tower of Church of St Mary and St Andrew

GV II

Chest tomb. Circa 1830. Sandstone. Rectangular. Moulded plinth and serrated top ledger, square corner pilasters. The dominant feature is an oval-shaped finial with serrated band in a square plinth to centre of top ledger. Plain inscription panels on north and south indecipherable at time of re-survey (1985).
