Manor house. C.1600 remodelled and extended 1761 (painted date and initials "AH" to gable) with later additions and alterations. Roughcast over coursed limestone and quartzite rubble, slate roofs (graded to gable) and 2 brick ridge stacks, one to main range and one to gable. T-shaped in plan with long, main range aligned north-east to south-west. 2 storeys with attic to gable; irregular fenestration, 1:3 windows, C19 multi-paned and slightly recessed leaded casements with small panes, those on ground floor of main range with cambered heads; 6-panel door (upper panels now glazed) in plain doorcase to gable. Interior. Plain staircase, remodelled 1761, winding 2 ways at head, massive chamfered beams and heavy joists to ground floor rooms of main range; several good C17 and mid C18 doors, double purlin roof to gable.
