GOLTHO APLEY ROAD TF 17 NW (south side) Goltho Hall 2/33 G.V. II
House. Mid C18, C19, C20. Red brick, some ashlar. Pantile roofs with 2 gable stacks and single ridge stack. Mid C19 east front of 2 storeys, 4 bays plus 2 bays set back to right, and single low bay to left. Doorway to left with round head, raised keystone, rectangular brick hood mould and double panelled doors. Inner doorway with traceried fanlight and panelled door. 3 glazing bar sashes to right with 4 glazing bar sashes above, all with segmental heads and rectangular brick hood moulds. Plain parapet above. Plain sash in left hand bay with plain sash above, both with segmental heads and rectangular hood moulds. Garage door to right with 2 narrow glazing bar sashes above,with brick hood moulds. Late C19 extension to south with plinth and 2 long doorways with double glazed doors and 2 glazing bar sashes above, all with ashlar wedge lintels. West side with canted bay window with a pair plain sashes flanked by single narrow plain sashes all with ashlar wedge lintels. Decorated brick band above. C18 gabled projecting 2 bays to left with plinth, 2 C19 glazing bar sashes with 2 glazing bar sashes above, all with ashlar wedge lintels. 6 bay, C18 range set back to left with plinth and single glazing bar sash to right with segmental head. 3 light C20 casement with segmental head to left with C20 gabled porch beyond with segmental headed opening and inner partially glazed door. 3 light C20 casement with segmental head, beyond to left. 6 glazing bar sashes above, all with segmental heads.
