SK 97 SE BURTON OLD HALL YARD
9/25 Georgian House 30-11-66 II
House. Late C18. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and brick and ashlar dressings, hipped slate roofs with lead dressings, 2 stone wall stacks. 7 bay front arranged 2:3:2, the middle 3 bays being slightly advanced and'of 3 storeys, the flanking pair being of two only. Plinth, first floor band and a narrow first floor Sill band, brick dentillated eaves course. Off centre half glazed door with fanlight. To left are 3 glazing bar sashes with beyond a half glazed door. To right a single window with a further half glazed door beyond. To first floor are 7 windows, the flanking pair being smaller than the 3 central ones. To second floor a central blank small rectangular opening is flanked by single pivot lights. All openings have flush ashlar surrounds with splayed arches.
