GV II

House in row. Late C16/early Cl7. Rendered cob walls, wheat reed thatched roof with brick chimney adjoining gable end of Wayside left and sweeping down to join roof of September Cottage right. 2-room through passage plan. 2 storeys with first floor partly in roof space. 2-window north-east front. Doorway with C20 door and thatched hood off centre to right; C19, 2-light casement 8 panes each to left and C20 2-light casement, right. First floor windows are dormered above eaves level; 2-light casement 4 panes each left and C18/19, 2-light casement 6 panes each, right, midway between door and ground floor window. Interior has 3 pairs of oak face pegged crucks with lapped dovetail jointed collars, all hidden by first floor ceilings. Large open fireplace in left room ie. hall with winder stair right of fireplace and arch headed built in cupboard between. Chamfered and stopped cross beam in each room. Lower room unheated.
