Details

1. 5141 ORTON LONGUEVILLE OUNDLE ROAD No 65 (St Botolph's) TL 19 NE 18/444 15.1.80 II 2. Early C18 house. Coursed stone with steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends with stone coping. Modillion eaves cornice. Two storeys. Five bays. Sashes with glazing bars and wooden lintels. Central panelled door with rectangular fanlight. String course above ground floor window heads. Brick end chimney stacks. Modillion gabled brick wing at rear. Wing at east end probably built later C18, set back slightly. Coursed stone, and with lower pitched Collyweston stone roof with coped gable end and modillion eaves cornice, 2 storeys, 3 window range, smaller sashes with glazing bars, central glazed door and right hand french windows, brick end stacks. Short twin gabled wing at rear. The main part of house is said to contain open fireplace. RCHM (11) Page 71.
