- II
House, formerly cottages. Early and mid C18. Squared rubble with graduated stone slate roof. Total of 5 bays and 2 storeys. Single-depth except for bay 1 which is double- depth and bay 5 which is 3-storey. The original house forms the central 3 bays and has 3-light chamfered stone mullion windows to each floor of the outer bays (recessed on ground floor), 2 similar 4-light to the central bay and a single- storey porch wing with gable stack and similar windows. Bay 1 was a later addition and has 3-light flat-faced mullion windows on each floor, four 2-light windows to gable and a lean-to garage which conceals a door. Bay 5, also an addition, has a later porch, two 4-light and one 5-light flat-faced stone mullion windows. Total of 4 stone and 2 brick ridge chimney stacks. Similar windows to rear although some mullions have been removed.
