SHOBROOKE UPPINCOTT SS 80 SE 2/95 Barn, granary, byres and - haylofts approx 6 metres north- west of Uppincott Farmhouse GV II Barn, granary, byres and haylofts comprising 2 adjoining ranges around farmyard. Mid - late C19. Cob on rubble footings with slate roof. L-shaped block facing into courtyard. 2 storeys throughout. North wing 3-bay byres with haylofts over. West wing continuous range with 6-bay barn, 3-bay granary and store and far bay byres and hayloft. North range has 2 doors with centre window and loading bayover. In west range large double doors of barn at right end with cart loading bay to left. Granary and store has timber-framed and weather-boarded front; external wooden steps to first floor right of stone pier which supports massive crossbeam carrying heavy first floor structure. To left 2 byres. Front principals of roof trusses extended to carry pent roof. Component of well-preserved, planned farmyard.
