Details
LANGTREE SS 41 SE 4/16 - Forches - II
Small house. Circa early C18 with C20 addition. Rendered cob walls. Thatch roof gabled to right end hipped to left. Brick stack at right gable end, small brick shaft at left-hand end. Plan: 2-room plan with larger heated room to the right. C20 addition at left-hand end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 3-window front facing away from road of late C20 PVC leaded pane casements, those on the 1st floor are half dormers. Similar glazed double door to right of centre under gabled slate doorhood. Early C20 single storey tile roof addition at left-hand end. C19 1 storey outbuilding lean-to against right-hand end with low door at the front. Interior: open fireplace at right-hand end - lintel obscured by mantelpiece.
