Church. c1780. Red-brown brick with lead and slate roofs. West tower, 3-
bay nave and chancel in one, small canted apse to east end. West tower:
plinth. Small round-headed belfry openings turned in gauged brick. West
wall has similar larger opening, with timber geometrical tracery, to ground
floor. Pyramidal roof. Nave and chancel: round-headed door of 6 raised and
fielded panels under gauged brick arch. 3 light round-headed windows under
gauged brick arches: the west one over the door, the remainder with sills
raised to match in C19. Stepped brick eaves cornice, raised coped gables.
Canted apse with round-headed window with sill to each side. Fastened to
the east end of the church is a memorial to Anne, the wife of Robert Bray,
died November 1761. It includes the lines:
'All those that comes our graves to se,
As we are now, so must you be.'
Interior: late C18 hexagonal pulpit: raised and fielded panel to each side,
dentilled cornice.
