Details
MARKET HILL 1. 1588 TL 3171 1/111 8.2.71 Free Church (formerly listed under Market Place) II. GV 2. 1863 by John Tarring. Double fronted with central broached steeple, nave, aisles and apsed south end. Decorated style with stone frontage to Market Place. Windows of 3 lights with geometrical tracery. Plain interior with thin Cast Iron columns.
Nos.3 to 5 (consec), the Free Church, the Golden Lion Hotel and the Town Hall form a group. Also forms a group with No.1, Free Church Hall, Nos. 4 to 6 consec Free Church Passage and No. 7 The Quay.
