1. WILDERSPOOL CAUSEWAY 5150 Saracen's Head Public House, and stables at rear to the north-east SJ 68 NW 4/139 SJ 68 NW 4/139A II GV
2. Victorian public house, probably built in conjunction with the brewery opposite. Dark brick with bright red brick dressings, 2 storeys, double and triple sashes with stone mullions, bay windows in shallow projections, red brick patterning of walls, wood gable to doorway. Stable block at rear similar, with slits, centre chimney, and raised loft door projecting above eaves.
Saracen's Head Public House, stables at rear, No 383 and Greenall Whitley's Wilderspool Brewery form a group with Nos 3 to 9 (odd) China Lane.
