House. Late C16 rear wing, much rebuilt mid C19, with mid C19 extensions to front, part rebuilt c. 1980. Flint with brick dressings, old tile roofs. Rear wing has one exposed timber post at N.W. corner, and first floor band course to N. gable. 2 storeys. C19 extension has 2 gabled bays to front, with 4-pane sashes and central half-glazed door in C20 gabled brick porch. Left bay has pair of square brick chimney shafts. Interior of rear wing has late Cl6 plaster overmantel with 3 heraldic figures, the central wyvern in a simple roundel. Flanking plaster pendants with inverted fleur-de-lys. Altered fireplace below with stack removed below ridge-line. Heavy spine beam and joists. RCHM I p. 320 Mon. 14.
