TL 58 SW DOWNHAM MAIN STREET (North Side) 4/10 Headstone c.5 metres from south porch of Church of St Leonard and east of churchyard path.

Headstone. Dated 1757 and 1795. Limestone slab with design of child kneeling, palms and festoons, and Greek temple. Black painted inscriptions to 'Richard Hopkin and Elizabeth his wife .... 1757, 1795': The headstone is one of the best examples of a good local tradition well represented in this churchyard.
