Details
DAVENHAM C.P. CHURCH STREET SJ 67 SE 2/29 The Old Rectory (formerly listed as 3.1.67 Rectory) G.V. II Rectory, now house. Mid/Late C18. Red Flemish bond brick having slate roof with lead flashings. Entrance front: Stone plinth, 5 bays symmetrically disposed. Central slightly projecting bay with ground floor flat-roofed porch which has Roman Doric columns and pilaster responds. Half-glazed C19 door. To either side are sash windows of 3 x 4 panes with stone sills and cement wedge lintels with raised 'keystones'. Five similar first floor windows with moulded cornice at eaves level and pediment to central bay.
